There is a catch, however. Participants must be willing to go through their budget with a counselor or volunteer. Also, they must be willing to give back to the community in some capacity, preferably on a volunteer basis. Proof of income, housing, social security information and proof of the members of the household will need to be provided upon intake. Services will begin with referrals to other agencies listed on our links page. Participants must be able to demonstrate a plan to provide for their needs in future months without ongoing assistance from social service agencies.
